    I really like that cover!

  2. Erik says:

The original US covers were good enough to attract my attention and get me to buy the series.. but I am seriously starting to think all these foreign markets are getting the real goods. That French edition you posted last year was beautiful and these Spanish ones are just awesome.

  3. Kelly says:

Is it bad that my first thought when I saw the cover art was ‘Lookin’ good, Ezio!’?

    1. Adele says:

Wow, he does look like Ezio! Pfft, I wouldn’t say that to Durzo though. He’d get be pissed off if he looks like an assassin.

  4. Matt Hayes says:

Brent, are the LIGHTBRINGER books going to be published one month after another like the NIGHT ANGEL trilogy? Why did the NIGHT ANGEL books do this?

    1. Erik says:

I think the Night Angel series was released at a monthly rate due to the entire trilogy being picked up at once by Orbit and already being complete. No idea if that will be the case with the new series.

  5. Matt Hayes says:

    By the way, cool covers.

  6. Gabe says:

Why is it that all the foreign covers are so much better than those here in North America?

  7. Carlos says:

woow of course by my name you can tell i am from mexico and i bought and read the entire night angel trilogy, but i am thinking seriously to buy the spanish books also

    1. brent says:

Carlos, if you do buy and read it, please let me know what you think of the translation. I can’t really DO anything about a good or bad translation, but I am always curious to hear from native speakers how good of a job you think the translator did. 🙂

      1. Carlos says:

sure i will, absolutely as soon as i get my hands on the books. one of the things i can tell you right now is the use of some words that they use in Spain, unlike in Mexico we do not say “jilipoyas”, but i guess people are getting use to it. like right now i am reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss in spanish, and i feel they did a pretty good job with the translation

  8. Shadowbane says:

I love it. And the third cover where he is using Cur’Celestios, it is just great. The colouring on all three is very well done, the artist should be proud of his work with this one. Well done. And well done Brent.

  9. Matt Hayes says:

I don’t think it looks like Ezio. This guy kind of looks like a ninja with a cape. Still cool, though.

  10. Mary says:

    Woah. These covers are gorgeous!

  11. Marte says:
