Paris Book Fair

Courtesy of my amazing French publisher, Editions Bragelonne, I will be appearing this year at the Paris Book Fair from 26-28 March 2010. I will be doing signings on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th. You can find full details HERE.

I look forward to meeting any of you who can come, and feel great sadness that I only took those two years of highschool French. Zut alors!

Enjoy Paris – I spent 4 months there in the late 80’s. Lots to see, and do, and unfortunately, lots to smell! I loved you Night Angel trilogy, and recomended it to several people, who bought all three, and like myself are eagerly awiating your next book. . . Oh, and they also remember your name. Fancy that!

First of all, I greatly enjoyed your books. Thank you for your prose. I am Doing my part to pass along your work, by the by. I got one of my students to start reading The Way of Shadows. He came to class with it yesterday, about halfway through, and I asked him what he thought so far. “It’s pretty much the greatest book ever,” he told me, ever so calmly. I thought that you might like to know that you have encouraged at least one student to read a novel outside of class. If only he would read the works I assign…

Secondly, and why it fits in with this post, do you happen to know where I could get my hands on the French versions of your trilogy? I would love to plunge into it, but I can’t figure out where one gets a copy when when one lives in the Midwest. Any info you have is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for your time, your art, and for kindling the hope that an English teacher can indeed get a novel published.
