    1. Livi says:

yeah chicago. and if you just happen to think ” Hey brent( not that i assum you think in third person often…lol) you should ask around some lowly book readers and see if their crazy demands for a time i should appear in Chicago, could possiably fit into my schedule and still publish that next book before anticipation of the nxt books causes a riot”…….october 🙂 jk looking fwd to anything close

      1. Roger says:

I’m all for Chicago area still couple hours from me but thats fine. if nothing else come to my town Bloomington/Normal Illinois right about the middle of the state so everybody could come 🙂 Thanx for the books past many a boring shifts reading.

Awww shucks! None of those are in my neck of the woods…would you ever consider coming to either Boston or Hartford???

    1. Jeremy says:

i agree boston, hartford, worcester, hell anywhere in new england would be great because we can get anywhere in like 4 hours. although if it helps getting book 2 of the series out you can ignor us this time. 🙂

  6. Tim says:

    *sighs* Still no Australia…

Will the Ning thing be recorded, for those of us who can’t watch at the time?

Just did a quick time zone check, 12 PST is 20 GMT (I think), for anyone who’s wondering.

My timezone (Melbourne time zone) is GMT+10, which means it will be 4am here (ouch).

    1. Tim says:

      My mistake, 6am. I think.

      1. Shaz says:

        5am 🙂

I’m from Sydney and while it’ll be a sunday for us, I don’t think most of us would be wanting to wake up that early on a rest day haha.

Glad to see there are other aussie fans out there wanting Brent to come down and visit. You have a lot of fans here Brent! It brings a smile to my face everytime I pass someone reading a Night Trilogy book (I’ve seen a few people reading them around already).

I’ve only ever met one of my favourite authors and it would be the greatest thing ever if I could meet you in person. I’m sure other people in Australia would agree with me.

Please consider coming to visit sometime 🙂

        1. Ryan Cuthbert says:

I agree, please could you down to Australia!

  7. Eric says:

Still no dates in the NYC area either…. Come to the north east

    1. Mary says:

      I second this!

    2. Charles says:

I agree, You Should stop Philly also.

  8. LisaBit says:

I’m thrilled that you’ll be making it to Dragon*Con in Atlanta! I was bummed that Brandon Sanderson wouldn’t make it, but having you there will definitely help make up for the lack :] It’s a shame they only have you scheduled for one panel, though.

  9. iRamble says:

Damn. Nowhere near West Texas/East New Mexico.
    Sadpanda.

  10. sal says:

Phoenix would be a great place for you to visit also.

  11. Ian says:

man why is it no authors wanna come to Texas and do a signing lol

    1. brent says:

I TOTALLY was in Texas just last year! (I’ll be back, but honestly, might be a few years.)

      1. Amy says:

Ahhh man! A couple years? I feel I’m being punished for not finding your books earlier in my life 🙁 but atleast you said you would come back at some point. I suppose beggars can’t be choosers. Though, I’ll probably still sulk for a bit…..

  12. You should do an event down here in Salem, Oregon! 🙂

  13. Martin says:

    No Toronto, Canada yet? 🙁

  14. davee says:

  15. Antoine says:

  16. Tyler says:

Oooh yeah Canada would rock your socks man!! You’d never leave(partially cause we wouldn’t let you >.>) mostly cause it’s awesome!

  17. Storm says:

When will you come to Australia I love your books and it would be wonderful to have one signed

  18. brent says:

Australians, and those interested in the Livestreaming Webchat, please note the changes above. We will do our best to come up with a more reasonable hour — sadly, when one’s fans are in the U.S., U.K., and Australia, it’s pretty much impossible to have it be a reasonable hour for everyone at the same time! I’ll figure out the best I can and put a post on the main page in about a week.

    1. Tim says:

I cannot adequately express my amazement and gratitude for this. Thanks so much.

  19. TheButtonator says:

Brent – any chance you’ll be trekking across the pond anytime soon? Would love to see you in the UK.

  20. Andrew says:

should go across canada, or at least to B.C

  21. Megann says:

I know North Dakota is small population wise and ValleyCon is tiny compaired to Dragon Con, but you do have fans up here in the midwest! It’s also less then two months away…. maybe next year?

  22. Maggie says:

TEXAS TEXAS TEXAS. I know Texas is big, but I’ll drive a long way. Promise.

    1. The Taylor says:

YES! We need you in Houston! I saw Black Prism in Randall’s (a grocery store owned by Safeway), and got SO excited. Lol mainly, because I was just telling my cousin how awesome Night Angel was.

  23. Rebeka says:

I missed it! I found out about the Seattle signing the day after 🙁

  24. Thomas says:

Come by Arizona, nothing better then 75 degrees in winter

  25. Zi Pierce says:

Comic Con 2012 in Downtown San Diego, California is a must go, Mr. Weeks.
You would be received with so much praise, and truly be treated with respect. Please consider coming down to SoCal for a time, taking in the serene coastal sites and multitude of fans.

  26. jazz294 says:

come to australia there are so many people here who like your books!!!

  27. Cody says:

Why are there never book signings in Florida by any authors i like????

    1. Brendan Pharo-Clamp says:

I completely agree. This man is my favourite author in the entire world and the only one i would enjoy meeting, but he will most likely never come here to good ol’ Florida.

  28. Katti B. says:

If only i could afford the gas and time off work for a road trip for the Powell’s Mass Signing: Sunday, November 13. A mere 2,071 mi, 1 day 10 hours drive from Illinois. i would DO IT and maybe be willing to put up any fans on the way. . . maybe.

Guess i have to start saving up for the next years signing events for such a vacation 🙂 ROAD TRIP!!

    1. Katti B. says:

      *Spell check* put= pick

  29. Nathan D says:

    Definently come to Australia .

  30. yadira says:

    how about pa?

  31. Dillon says:

Why do no authors ever come to Louisiana? (At least none as good as you) *wink wink*

  32. Relley says:

You should come to Toronto, Canada

  33. Emily says:

St. Louis MO is nice, smack in the middle of the USA!

  34. Courtney says:

Awww! Dang it! Those places are all far away 🙁 Do you mind if you go to Hawaii? Though you shouldn’t come next week or something because the Presidents of Different Countries are coming or something like that. Hawaii, very nice during fall or spring, but hey if you come during summer or winter that’s fine with me too! 🙂 Well have fun at those other places! Sounds like an awesome ‘road trip’. (starts singing a random road trip song that I can’t remember the name of) xp

  35. billi says:

Got myself books one and two but I haven’t managed to get hold of a copy of three yet so, I came on line and there you were! I thought I’d make a comment too if that’s ok?
Hated having to finish the first and second pieces, so well written characters and the descriptive prose re the action was superb. Story telling at its best. Please don’t think of yourself ‘new kid on the block’ you’re up there with the best. Oh, Ive been a fan of SF for over fifty years so I bullshit you not.

    1. billi says:

oh, and the UK loves you.. come up and see us sometime, its a beautiful part of the world

  36. Kira4Inu says:

Hey, I know I’m just one of thousands wishing this, but you should have a signing in my town. I also know that you may not have time and that my town is a very small town and pretty much off the radar. It is though, in the state that you reside in if this matters at all. Would love to meet you and get my very well loved copy of The Way of Shadows signed. Just something for you to think about. . . . .

  37. Ryan Cuthbert says:

Im one of the thousand people wanting you to sign books…….
But could u come to australia!!!??
    PLEASE and thankyou!!

  38. Sian says:

Hopefully you will consider visiting Australia…

  39. Brendan Pharo-Clamp says:

I think I am the second person on here to ask, but could you please come to Florida? Tampa, Florida if possible. I absolutely love your books. I own all of them and read each a few times and done a project in school on all of them except the black prism. I have gotten all of my friends to read your books and we all love them.

I happened to pick up your first novel just walking by a borders in the Cincinnati airport on my way home to Florida. it was featured outside the shop and the cover stopped me dead in my tracks. I spent my meal money for the night on it after reading the back and half of the first chapter. I have never regretted it and I am constantly stalking your website to see when the next book is going to come out.

Thank you for the hours of entertainment you have provided me. Reading your books is the only thing I’d rather do over playing video games or hanging out with friends.

I will continue to read your books well into my life. I shall keep reading them until they stop coming.

    Thanks, Brendan Pharo-Clamp

  40. Connor says:

You should definitely make a trip to the UK. Would be a dream come true to get one of your books signed. 🙂

  41. Bethany says:

    England!

Why does it all have to be in America? God damnn xD
    Oh well.
    A girl can dream ;3

  42. Cryssi says:

I hope you’ll be able to come and say hi to your Canadian neighbors at some point! Have you considered attending FanExpo in Toronto? Maybe?

… Please? I’ll bring candy, or whichever you like! PROMISE!

*Fangirl moment has passed* Oh. I feel better now.

  43. Kyle says:

    Come to Kansas City

  44. Austin Woodson says:

Hey Brent! It would be awesome if you could visit North Carolina! Somewhere close to Asheville. Im sure many people will come to get their books signed. I would even be willing to drive to Atlanta. Also when i was walking through the bookstore about October of 09 i think is when i saw this awesome book with a bad ass assassin on the cover. I bought it and roughly 20 read throughs later i still notice new things every time i read your books.

    1. Austin Woodson says:

      *wetboy not assassin :/ oops

  45. Denny says:

Just joining in the chorus: Come to Australia !!!
