Too bad it can’t be bought from Amazon.com in Europe :/.

It can be bought on Amazon in Europe, just not at $1.99. 🙁

Could you speak to Orbit about making this deal available to Australian and international readers?

  3. Monique says:

I’m in Holland and I’m able to download it from Amazon (after clicking on the buttun where it says that you cannot download it) but the price would be $ 8.16 instead of $ 1.99

So I see Brandon Sanderson’s post on Facebook about this and I go to Barnes and Noble’s website and they are selling it for 7.99. By my calendar it is still 10/15. Oh well

What a gyp! It seems that Amazon is the only one actually offering the deal. I checked B&N, and Kobo, and neither one shows the deal. Last I looked, it was still the 15th. Wish they’d actually check before announcing things like this, got my hopes all up.

Hi Laura (and everyone else not able to get the sale price!),
I’m sorry you weren’t able to get the eBook at this price, as it seems some of the vendors closed the sale earlier on the 15th than we would have liked. I did, however, check that each vendor (including Nook and Kobo) had the $1.99 price when I posted this announcement on October 2nd.
Orbit does like to offer these deals with some regularity though, so hopefully we’ll have another one to announce soon! Just this year, we’ve had The Black Prism on sale three times for $2.99 or less, and the Way of Shadows on sale once. So we’ll keep you updated about eBook deals!

Found out about the sale today Oct. 15 at about 2.30 pm, but was unable to get the book to come up for the sale price. Went in to Barns and Nobles around 5pm to find out what was going on. Found out the sale ended on east coast time. Was not able to get book at sale price because I am on the west coast. Sad about that.

Would be great if us Australians could get that price. Guess we’re not a big enough market
