Perfect Shadow Cover Art Revealed!

I’m pleased to be able to announce that Raymond Swanland has turned in the final art for the cover and interior illustrations for the Subterranean Press limited editions of Perfect Shadow. Mr. Swanland has a storied career as an artist with the Oddworld video game series, a fantasy artist, comic book illustrator, and has even created work for the Magic: The Gathering card game. You can see more of his work here.

If you haven’t yet bought the limited edition, go here to order your copy now. (Please note that the lettered edition is sold out, but the limited edition is still available as of this posting.)

And a hat tip to Michael at Mad Hatter’s Bookshelf & Book Review for breaking the story!

Ok I’m not familiar with these limited edition SubPress books…. So the book is bound in leather, but um… there’s this cover?

Aside from that, great art! Man looks a little evil and old (haha old…) but aaahhhh it looks wonderful!

    1. kevin says:

  4. Steven says:

How the hell do I get one.

  5. Steven says:

Holy crap! $45 bucks! That’s alittle too much for me to spend on a 96 page book. No thank you.

  6. Tim says:

Brilliant timing. First thing I wanted to ask on the chat thing (I had work, so I couldn’t) was when cover art for the limited edition would be released. And then when we can expect our books to arrive =P

  7. Matthew Sacksee says:

Thanks to Raymond Swanland, I sometimes judge books by their cover.

  12. Bri says:

If you decide to make a movie… and not sure that you even want to or anything, but if you do… Durzo Blint could be played by Tom Hiddleston. Just a random thought 🙂

    1. robert says:

I think that ODED FEHR from The Mummy movies would be better

  13. Stavros says:

  16. Duncan Long says:

What a gorgeous book cover illustration. Every author should be so lucky as to have a cover artist create a book illustration like this.

  20. Joseph Mondragon says:

Oh my gosh I totally want this! But $45 :o..Going to have to ask my parents if they can get it for me :D! Hopefully they do..

    1. kevin says:

last time i checked the website it said they were down to the last 200, hope you get one

      1. Joseph Mondragon says:

Really?! Great..I don’t think my parents are going to order it for me :o. This totally sucks. And I refuse to buy an e-reader tablet thing too..

        1. Tim says:

You don’t need the tablet thingummies to read e-books. You can get them in pdfs etc. so they can be read on normal computers. I still don’t go for e-books in general, but yeah. Probably better than not reading it at all, which looks like your other option.

          1. Joseph Mondragon says:

Yeah I got to figure out how to do that. But I may be able to have my brother and sister order it for me as their Christmas present for me so I’m hopeful! Whatever they do has to happen to quick though..I presume that there aren’t many copies left..
