Bookplates Bonanza!–UPDATED–ALL GONE

For those of you who have not been able to come to any of my signings — and you had an incredibly good reason, right? — I want to give a limited, first-come-first-serve opportunity to get the next best thing to a signed book. If you don’t know what a bookplate is, mine look something like this:

I will be happy to sign and personalize bookplates for the first 200 people who email me with their snail mail address. Please put “bookplate” in the subject line. In the  body of your message, please include which book you intend to place the bookplate in, and to whom you want the bookplate dedicated. I will cover the postage for those first 200 (even internationally) and only ask that if you haven’t done so already, that you sign up for the Brent Weeks newsletter here. (I will not automatically put you into the newsletter list, and the newsletter only goes out 2-4 times a year. It’s an e-newsletter, btw. Those are just emailed out.)

*UPDATE* All the bookplates are gone. Thank you so much for your fervor. I had wondered if I’d be pathetically flogging my free bookplates on street corners a month from now. My hand also thanks you… not so much. Give me a couple weeks to get these all done and in the mail.

I agree with Kevin. This is an awesome thing to do for your fans. (specially since I missed you here in Denver last year) I have a question though, I’m not sure where else to put it. I pre-ordered one of the physical copies of Perfect Shadow and I was wondering if you (or anyone really) know when that is suppose to be released. I know the e-books have been out for a few months already.

Awesome! I was looking for a present I could gift my brother this Christmas. Didn’t think it’d one from his favorite Author!

Thanks Bent. As always you are thinking of the fans!

Thanks Mr. Weeks for doing this. I live in a remote part of Tennessee that is too far away from any city that authors are usually going to go to. So this was the one way I could get a book signed. Thank you very much for doing this and can’t wait to read your future books.

    Thanks,
    Mack

This is an awesome idea! Although I live in London it seems not too many fantasy authors head out this way, so this is a rare opportunity indeed. I hope my email reached you in time as I typed it up on my phone straight after reading your tweet… my boss didn’t like it though haha.
I also want to say thanks for writing such awesome books the Night Angel Trilogy is one of my all time favorite series.

    Thanks
    Chris

So, I was just wondering if you got my receipt a few months back for ordering your book? I was hoping I made it on the list for a signed book plate? I got the book today and was super excited! Thank you so much! <3
I am just asking because I don't know if it would have been sent with the book or separately?
I guess I just more or less really want to know if I'll be getting one at all. It would be nice to know.
You'd be making me one hell of a happy fan if I get one! -Haylee Moran 🙂

      Hey Haylee,
You can expect the bookplate in about 4 weeks. The bookplate ships separately from the book (the book comes via the retailer you ordered with; the bookplate comes straight from Brent’s publisher after Brent signs it).
      Hope that helps!
