He came to class with it yesterday, about halfway through, and I asked him what he thought so far. "It's pretty much the greatest book ever," he told me, ever so calmly. I thought that you might like to know that you have encouraged at least one student to read a novel outside of class. If only he would read the works I assign... I would love to plunge into it, but I can't figure out where one gets a copy when when one lives in the Midwest. Any info you have is greatly appreciated.
